Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in ‘Trundle Tree Change’, which is all about sharing the country town of Trundle with people that are looking for a new experience and to live in a vibrant rural community. The Trundle people would like to entice families of all backgrounds and from all over Australia to live within our community.

Background

‘Rent a farm house’ is a bold community scheme renting vacant farmhouses for $1 a week to attract new families to the district, strengthen the community and save local schools.
As part of the 2010 Strategic Plan for Trundle, community members agreed that to entice people to live in Trundle, for similar reasons to those adopted in other towns around Australia, the Rent a Farmhouse Scheme should be developed.

For more information on Trundle's sporting clubs, events, and activities, visit the My Trundle website.

Anyone who is looking for a tree change and an adventure is most welcome to apply. If successful, you will be living in a rural community, sharing the experiences of a farming area and small country town, and renovating a farm house – all for only $1 per week!
